Once a year, I take pictures of my daughter's little feet and hands. I also stamp her hands and feet to put on the page. Looking at the first set of footprints I have of her, and comparing them to the way her feet look now just blows me away! She has gotten so much bigger! I love her little hands and feet! I time this page so that it's right after her birthday.

OK - here is my problem...I have 3 albums of my son's first 2 years of his life. I probably have at least another 1 1/2 yet to do of his 3rd year. I was very detailed and even wrote everyday he tried a new food or did something new. My problem is that I just had another son 12 weeks ago and I don't even know how I am going to manage keeping up with my 1st sons book let alone start a new one for him. I can't imagine being able to do his book even close to as well as I did my first. What are you going to do if you have more kids??????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
ReplyDeleteIf I have more kids, I know that things will change. You can't expect everything to be equal in life! As far as writing down everything your first son ate, your calendar is your best friend! Jot things down as soon as they happen, and worry about scrapping it later. When you have the chance to scrap, even if it's just for an hour, take it! If there is a kidproof place in your house, make that your scrapbooking nook. I scrap in my garage! It's worth it to me because I can leave everything out, and that saves so much time. You might have to get picky with the pictures you choose to put in the album. Just put in the very best. Also, you might find it helpful to copy the first son's layouts. At least then you don't have to think up new page ideas! I know that it is possible to keep up, even if you take a lot of pictures. I have a friend who stays current on her 3 children's albums! Yeah, she also has a part time job and a life. How? She scrapbooks with her friends! Now, that's fun multi-tasking!
